Christmas Ornament

I did it!  I made the ornament on the front of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog and it turned out beautifully!!  Yippee and Yahoo!  A celebration is in order!

Holiday Ornament

I do enjoy making a variety of paper-crafts, but this is one that is a little out of my comfort zone.  I don’t usually do a lot of bling or a lot of elegance.  but this particular ornament really spoke to me!  It has layers of 3-dimentional ornaments crafted from Stampin’ Up!© papers, in additon to Stampin’ Up!© ribbons, inks and other embellishments.  I was determined to step out of my comfort zone and give this one a whirl!  Needless to say, I am very glad I did and I was surprised when it turned out so well!  And it was not nearly as difficult as I imagined it would be!  So much fun and I enjoyed the challenge!

If you would like to make this beautiful ornament, join my Virtual Stamp Club!  It will be the featured project for the month of September!

I believe you will enjoy making it as much as I did.  And if it is a bit out of your comfort zone, too, give it a whirl!  You will be glad you did!
